My family wanted breakfast while we were out of town visiting family and found this place based off the excellent google reviews. I ordered the Heeman platter for me and my littles to share, which was plenty for myself and two under three. My son got pancakes, eggs and bacon. We all enjoyed our food and had great service. The prices were reasonable too. I would recommend stopping here based on our experience. Their other menu items looked great and I’d be happy trying our other food choices.

We love this place so much! This is the only restaurant that has been a staple in my life for over 20 years! A lot of the servers are siblings and the family atmosphere is real. The food is even better since the new owners took over (although it was always very good). I've gotten ALL the food here, although I could only choose one for the review. It's ALL GOOD! I've never had a complaint.

The Lamp Post was a perfect stop only 2 minutes off the freeway. We were pleasantly surprised at this local gem. Upon entering this clean vintage restaurant, the ambiance takes you back to a different era with an old school diner flare! Tiffany our server far exceeded our expectations and remembered our orders without a paper or pen. She had the best fun, witty, upbeat personality! The food was excellent, and the portions were extra large with a minimal price tag! Being from California and traveling through, we will probably not be back, but if we lived in the area this would be our breakfast go to! This is a must stop, if in the area! Very clean restaurant, very fast service. Food was excellent and extremely under priced. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the prices! But I would have paid almost double what they charged. Great diner breakfast food without the pounds of grease you usually see. This was clean, flavorful, and a great start to the day! And in true diner fashion, they have Coke not Pepsi! :)

That was my first time and I've been living in Akron for years. Food was amazing and worth the price. I went there with my Bestie, her Boyfriend, Their daughter Buttercups 1st Birthday and my son. I'll definitely go there again soon.
